Courier and Truck Service Guide

CMI is a local company, based in the Valencia Industrial Center, providing transportation of time sensitive shipments of all sizes from envelopes to full truckloads.

CMI provides same day, Overnight and Time definite Ltl point to point deliveries, through out the USA. Same day truck service is determined by availability at time of call.

Courier – Messenger Service’s

Direct: Pick up shipment and go directly to destination.

Rush: Picked up and delivered within 3 to 4 hours in Los Angeles County. Add an hour for every county traveled through i.e. from Valencia to Orange County would be 4 to 5 hours.

Regular: Must be placed by 11:00 A.M. and will be delivered by the end of day in Los Angeles County. Regular shipments outside of Los Angeles County must be called in by 10:00 am (Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties).

Return Trip’s: The price when picked up at the time of the delivery.

Waiting Time: The first 15minutes are free. If waiting time goes over the 15 minutes the waiting time become retroactive to the time of arrival.

After Hours: Starts at 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. (Weekends) and is 1 1/2 times the direct charge or $45.00 minimum witch is ever greater.

Weight: No charge for the first 100 pounds 5 cents a pound there after.

Truck - Pallet Services

Truck Sizes: Full size Pick up, Cargo Van, 24’ Straight Truck and 53’ Dry Van

Specialized Equipment: Flatbed, Lowboy and 53‘ Dry Van with Lift gate and Air ride

Same Day Service: Pick up pallets, large crates or boxes and deliver before close of business or agreed upon time.

Exclusive Truck Service: To only have your product on the truck from pick up to delivery!

Overnight Service: Pick up available between 8:00 A.M. 5:00 P.M. to deliver next day by 5:00 P.M.

Additional Services: Lift gate, Inside Delivery, 2 Man deliveries, Blanket Wrap, Appointment Delivery, Residential Delivery and Pallet exchange.

Fuel Surcharge: Applies to all services.

We reserve the right to assess fuel and other surcharges on shipments without notice. The amount and duration of any such surcharges will be determined at our sole discretion. By tendering your shipment to C.M.I, you agree to pay the surcharges, as determined by C.M.I.
